This contract between the Suncoast Workforce Board and the School Board of Sarasota County represents a collaborative partnership between the agencies in which SCTI will provide construction related job skills training to local residents in an effort to make them more competitive for upcoming construction job related opportunities.  This contract opens the door for Suncoast Workforce Board and Jobs, Etc. to use Federal Work Force Investment Act dollars to pay for training related fees.

That the School Board of Sarasota County approve the contract between the Suncoast Workforce Board and the School Board of Sarasota County as presented.
